How to use tags in your scrapbook layouts.

Updated: Sep 1, 2020

I’ve developed a new obsession. Tags. Previously I’ve only ever used them to write ‘To’ and ‘From’ on when sending gifts but recently I’ve discovered how they can be mini works of art in themselves.

I’d noticed that lots of people were using them on their scrapbook layouts as embellishments and i loved the way they looked. its amazing how a piece of card with a punched hole in it can really enhance the look of a page when it’s peeking out from underneath a photo!

So I started experimenting with using them in my own layouts and have now can‘t seem to stop making them! The beauty of a tag is that you can experiment with all the techniques that you’ve been wanting to try-but on a small scale. So, if it goes wrong-and believe me, my mixed media attempts have indeed gone spectacularly wrong on many occasions-you‘ve only used minimal products and card. And, when it works, you’ve got a gorgeous mini masterpiece to add to your layout or even to use as a gift tag! (The layout above was made using the mini Tags ‘n’ Tape set-cute little kits which you can find herehttps://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TheLittlePrintClub?ref=search_shop_redirect )

Ill be posting my Top Tag Tips in a future post but, for now, here‘s a look at my tag gallery...
